Dylan that sounds so cool I've not seen enough archaeology inspired tattoos!
Booked my appointment for my first tattoo today.
An old school traditional portrait of my cat. I can not wait for March.

dylan, that sounds awesome. Dylan that sounds so cool I've not seen enough archaeology inspired tattoos! Thanks guys! Also it's just gone two weeks until I get my first tattoo! "neither" on my inner bicep, it's a birthday present along with a helix piercing and I'm really excited!

I'm debating on getting my knee tattooed or the top of my foot, during the spring. Either way, they will both suck.. so I'm not sure which one to do first. I wanted to do my knee first, but after getting something done behind the knee, I'm a bit less exited... Do I feel walking like a penguin for 1 month or walking barefoot?

Next Saturday I'm getting my other seahorse (#weirdsymmetricalblackwork) and I'm hoping to get my right "higher" nostril redone then too.
Also contemplating getting my cheek anchor yanked. I like it but don't really love it anymore, since it's not sitting the same as when I first got it. If it does get yanked I'll probably get a lil freckle tattoo there.

I have 4 tattoo appointments booked over the next couple of months so we can finish up my ribs/stomach and my right hip. The plan is to get as much done as possible before APP with time for it to heal so I'm not walking around with just lines.

I booked myself a laser removal appointment for about 3 weeks from now. I want to hit as many tattoos as they'll let me in one session, but especially my sternum, wrists and elbows.
Simultaneously looking and not looking forward to it.

I have a few places that I'd like to lighten for a cover up but have been a wimp about calling to make an appointment anywhere.

I've really debated on getting the tattoos on my shoulders lasered and then covered up with something else. They look fine in terms of quality, but are kinda culturally appropriative (did I make the word up?) and I had them done before I really ever understood the concept of appropriation.
Idk, I'm on the fence, but it'd be something to do in the distant future, either way.

I just never go around to going back; I always prioritized getting new tattoos over working on removal. But no more!

I'm booked in to get some filler on my forearm on Saturday. Skeletons, zombies, gore, the usual. I am looking forward to hearing about your experience. I have a few places that I'd like to lighten for a cover up but have been a wimp about calling to make an appointment anywhere. There are a couple of threads about people's experiences with laser in the tattoos section. Someone else just had them removed and I don't think they got anything else, but I had mine lightened for a coverup.

I'll have to dig into that thread when I get home. It hasn't been high on my priority list because no one can see the one I want removed but now that my arms are filling up it is moving up.

They're the Bungai Terung (sp?) or "Borneo Flower" shoulder tattoos that became popular for lot of different people to get. I'd see them on BME way back and always loved the way they look. I'd only heard a small amount of the real history of them before getting them tattooed and even now only know as much as you'd see in a brief snippet on National Geographic.
