I use I for a few minutes a few times a day but I'm starting to find I don't need it as much now. I think it's helping with the tension and knots I usually deal with and I've gotten to a better point I should typically be at. Which brand did you get? I went with Bob & Brad for a few reasons, they're really well reviewed and I can see why. I got a Theragun G3 for probably around 80% off after discounts/store credit I had. It says in the instructions that it only needs like 30 seconds to loosen muscles and 2 mins for pain relief, so we've only been using it for a few minutes a day/every few days, but it does really seem to help. He used it on a muscle in my hip that is always tight AF and it was really uncomfortable but I think it does feel better today? It feels really good on my back though.

Got a new toy that was $550. Spent another $35 at that store on new dog toys and a couple things for the kid. About $80 at the grocery store. $75 at an auto parts store. Yesterday was an expensive day.

Finally starting to feel a little better after being in agony for the past six months solid. Celebrated by giving in and purchasing a region free second Blu Ray player so I can own a couple of favorite movies which were only released on Blu-ray for region B. Then I found six more Blu-rays I didn't know existed (or forgot about if i couldn't determine their region codes when I found them initially). Though Seattle has shat itself with snow, I've actually had a pretty good weekend. Really looking forward to those lossless master audio tracks. ^_^
Does anyone else collect movies? Anyone want to have a movie collection thread? :)

I have a rule now that I only buy new shoes to replace an existing pair that's worn out - it keeps me from hoarding shoes and then never wearing them. I had a pair of black Birkenstock sandals that finally crapped out after more than a decade (RIP), and I found these on sale: www.drmartens.com/us/en/p/23802001. They are literally the most comfortable shoes out of the box I've ever owned.

One of my friends just got those!!! She loves them.
She debated between these and pair that look like the sandals Rick always wore.

On Friday I managed to crack my laptop's screen, rendering the screen useless. However, it still works with an external monitor attached, so while I wait for the replacement screen to go back in stock I bought myself an external monitor, basically turning my laptop into a desktop for the time being - I can replace the cracked screen myself, but it's on backorder for a couple of months. And because I tend to write at work, at coffee shops, or in front of my TV I needed something portable to write on. Enter a new chromebook. I type way more than I handwrite, so I needed the portability of the chromebook. All told I spend about $375, taxes in. At this point I may not bother replacing my laptop screen and when the laptop finally dies I'll just replace it with an actual desktop. Woo?

I've been making the rounds for halloween stuff, because I realized I barely have anything specifically halloween (ie: what I would only put out in the fall instead of keep out year round).
So far I've hit several Targets, several TJ Maxxs, Marshalls, Ross and Home Goods. The resale market on halloween this year is apparently insane, so stores very rarely have anything good in stock :/

I'm taking a short break from dog fostering so my kitties are getting spoiled (it was also my oldest's birthday this month). They are getting an upgraded cat tree with multiple perches and 2 huts.
