I had a bread related accident and sliced my finger with a serrated knife; it cut through the nail bed and everything. Blue line is the cut.

Not bloody, but this is a splinter of my jawbone that has been working it's way out through my gums for the last month. How, you may be thinking, in the fuck is that even a thing? Well, when I had my wisdom tooth removed over a decade ago, apparently the jawbone stays a little soft around the empty hole and if there is trauma to the area, little splinters can break off and work themselves out occasionally. This one caused a nasty infection and I was on antibiotics for two weeks.

ooh, interesting
about 3 weeks after having mine out i had a reeeaaally hard lump just below where the side of the tooth was, which several months later has worked its way to where the surface of the tooth was, and is now just below the surface. interesting to see what comes out LOL

Just had two of four wisdom teeth removed - dentist wants to do one side at a time so i can still chew Teef (i have been/am cleaning them, but this is before any of that. If anyone had tips for getting gum/grissle off them I'd appreciate) Mouth (no longer bleeding)

Yeah I say "apparently" because that's what I was told LOL. I was knocked out. All I remember from before getting mine out is my surgeon seeing my smiley jewelry and going "huh that's neat! I've never seen that before! -pokes it- oh I'm sorry I should've asked." and me maybe saying something like "oh is ok" and pretty sure i conked out right after that.
