Yeah, it's not on the list but maybe you can contact Melissa and see if she can order 20mm from GG. I ordered some really fine GWS glass plugs for stretching 2 months ago, by an amazing online body jewelry shop in England. He carries ALL the sizes untill 1" (including 21mm, 23mm, etc.) and he only carries the good quality of what GWS possibly did. I don't know if it's ok to recommend other shop than BAF here since I guess all of us are from their boards, though. And I got an answer from Melissa. She said the largest size she can order in single flare from GG is 1". Meh. I need to learn more about the amazing online body jewelry shop in England!! I'm in Europe so whatever's closer to home is AWESOME... but I'd rather avoid GWS. HEY GUYS WHAT'S GOING ON IN HERE? DID SOMEONE MENTION AFFORDABLE CUSTOM GLASS BODY JEWELLERY WITH GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE? WELL BOY DO I HAVE A TREAT FOR YOU! Ryan Kremp is a douchebag That spoiler made my day. Seriously, if you guys wouldn't have made this new forum I'd pretty much die from a snark deficiency. Also, your Nirvana glass collection makes me super happy and I'm ttly gonna give them many money later. Guessing this is Southshore Adornments? Guessing this is Southshore Adornments? Just googled it. Might be? Yep it is Southshore Adornments. He makes super high quality custom Delrin plugs and PTFE plugs which are wonderful for stretching. He also of course makes custom wood plugs, all of that in a reasonable prices. About the GWS plugs - he kinda told me himself that GWS fucks up a lot of their custom orders, however he carries only the good ones from GWS. I myself won't ever buy anything from GWS unless I know it's fine. And did I mention he carries half sizes such as 23mm? But if you still don't want to buy GWS, which I can understand, check the PTFE or Delrin plugs. The customer service is amazing!

Just ordered 3 septum retainers from Nirvana Glass! 10g, 7g and 5g for all the times I won't be able to wear an earskin. Gonna be my xmas present from my partner! Got a 1/4 wearable and awesome silver-gold colour, I assume it's fuming since they said to not use harsh cleaners etc.

Who do you guys like for inlays? I've worked with Southshore, Oaks and AEO before with good results, and I love Onetribe's inlay work... I have some local gemstones I picked up during a road trip to Broken Hill, which I'd like to do some fun projects with Just nosing around at the moment for my options and to see if you guys have any other favourite makers I may not know of.

No idea on the inlays, Wenda, not really my style - but I totally want to see the Broken Hill gems! I love local stones - I've been to Gemboree twice to nerd out over everything. Australia has some amazing stuff.
Guys, I got my GG trichro which is definitely quadchro and it's fucking awesome. But I've been wearing smaller jewellery all week and I can't fit it in yet. THIS IS TORTURE.

Australia has some amazing stuff. Guys, I got my GG trichro which is definitely quadchro and it's fucking awesome. But I've been wearing smaller jewellery all week and I can't fit it in yet. THIS IS TORTURE. Agh I tried to get a photo but I couldn't get one which looked any good I picked up four small opals, blue/white and glowy and translucent, but the photo just made them look washed out and bleh. They're still in their irregular shapes, they've just been polished. I'm thinking more and more I might go with Onetribe. I really like these, this is pretty much exactly what I want: They're much better than the other pair of shadowbox plugs he made, which would have been stunning apart from the clunky prongs. It just depends on whether it's achievable in 1/2", I don't know what size the above ones are. The other "gems" I picked up - in quotes because they are silly and fun rather than precious - are a few lumps of peacock ore. In this case, it refers to chalcopyrite which has been acid washed to oxidise the surface and make the colours flashy and ridiculous. I'd like to have these ground into circular cabs with raw surfaces and inlaid, but the problem with them is they were mined close to Broken Hill and thus have a high probability of trace lead. Workers of body jewellery I've spoken to are (rightly) reluctant to grind them in their workshops, because they don't want the dust on their instruments, so I'll have to have them ground first by a lapidarist who doesn't make body jewellery.

Ah, the shadow boxes are amazing. <3 I love peacock ore too. I love finding local stones - never found anything the perfect size/shape for plugs, but still looking!

Did you add that lace? The rest of the case looks exactly like something my parents had on their wall for tchotchkes when I was a kid.

I can't decide what to do! I want a pair of quetzalli's raven spell plugs. I prefer the look of the 0g ones but the flares are too big for me. BAF has a pair of the 2g ones in stock. But I emailed quetzalli on the 17th about making me a pair. I haven't heard back from them. The last time I dealt with them directly it took me a good week to hear back and the whole process was super slow. Although I loved the results.
I don't mind paying full price for a pair that's exactly what I want. But if I'm going to end up with a 2g pair I'd like to buy them during the 30% off sale. Should I wait and see if quetzalli gets back to me? Has anyone had any dealing with them more recently than '13? If so, how did it go?

Could you go ahead and buy the 2g at 30% off..and wait to open them until you hear back about your custom order? That way you could return them if need be and give yourself a little more time.
