So Ive been planning this neck thing that I am in love with for the past few years. I know I won't get the design on my body for a few more decades but I'm just dying to know what method I want this on my skin I guess? Im currently also really medicated right now so I apologize for any weirdness.
It's a design of vines that are originally done in black ink. But due to my future job aspects I want to tone it down from a black tattoo that covers a portion of my neck to something more subtle. I was looking at scarification for the future mod because of the way I know I scar, which isn't very intrusive but if you look for it it can be seen. But I was just reading about how scarification on the neck is kinda sketchy and I get why. Knife+Blood supply to brain isn't a good combo and the thinness of the skin in the area. Then I heard of inkless Tattoos and then I read somewhere that they fade inot about a year and that made me a little sad. Because the idea was cool and it would be the perfect solution I think to my dilemma but it doesn't last. I would visually love the black tattoo but the reasons for not is that I might end up working in a half in an office and half in the field job where most Tattoos are okay except in the culturally taboo places. Like hands face neck etc
I really want this and if I can't do the design on my neck I'll be doing it definitely somewhere else. But what are your thoughts? Bad idea or good idea?

find someone who can tone white ink to compensate for your skin tone & not go yellow. do the portion on your neck in white, have it fade into gray as it goes under your shirt, & to black at the lowest portion. :)

That is so freaking cool in my imagination. Most of the sources I've seen about white ink either say it's a wonderful idea or the results are not very good? I have seen someone here with a white ink tattoo and it looks really cool.
