I know regular casting resin is super toxic and should not be worn in the ears, but I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with bio resin plugs? I'm looking into making my own jewelry, but glass and metal require way too much equipment (and seems pretty expensive and potentially dangerous with kids in the house) and I'm not talented enough to work with wood. I also saw something about pine resin somewhere?
Thanks for for your advice!

Gut reaction: not a good idea without a barrier between the resin and the fistula because while some resins can be worn ON the body for periods of time without harm, there aren't any designed to be worn IN THE body.
Get an MSDS and see what it says.
Also, pine is not a suitable wood for use in body jewelry (high reactivity), so pine resin is probably out, too.
