I like the look of the "water-in-water" tattoo (the two upside-down triangles nested within each other) but I can't find any information on whether or not it holds any symbolic meaning. Does anyone know? I don't want to get it and then find out it means something I wasn't aware of. Thanks. Attachments:

I googled a bit for you and the only things I can find is other people asking if it means something. Some pages explain the symbolism of triangles but none seem to indicate that this particular design has any meaning. I'd say go for it if you like it I like the simplicity of the design.

I know an upside down triangle like that denotes free water surface in a scientific context, sometimes coupled with lines underneath as such. But other than that, I don't know anything about stacking two together.
