Hello humans. I've got kind of a weird one. So I've been stretching my lobes for several months now, and recently I got a pretty bad infection in one of them. It has since mostly cleared up, but I was cleaning them just now and saw what looked like a small pimple on the inside of the hole. I squeezed it a bit and some pus did come out but then it looked like some actual ear-flesh came out and now I have this little tag of aforementioned ear-flesh hanging out. Has anyone ever experienced this. And if so, how should I take care of it?

I've been stretching my lobes for several months now How often are you stretching? Even if "several months" means 6 months, you shouldn't have stretched more than 2mm at this point. What material are you using to stretch with?

I can't remember exactly how long it's been, but I do know that I did it faster than i should have. I'm at a 0 currently, using silicone tapers. One of my ears is in perfect shape tho. It's just the one side that has had issues.

Assuming you were starting from a standard piercing size it should have taken over 2 years to safely get from 20g to 0g. 1mm every 3 months.
Are you wearing the silicone tapers as jewellery, or are you stretching with the tapers and switching to single flare plugs?
