Hey guys! I know there are some strict regulations in the US with anaesthetic. I’m in AUS and I can get a 6% lidocaine, 4% terracaine and a 0.1% epinephrine mixture (I currently have some in a gel base for some penile implants that will be going in soon)
What I’d like to know, is what have you guys done/experienced? - what procedure did you have? - what anaesthetic was used? - what base was the anaesthetic? - how long did it last? - could you still feel anything and did it hurt? - was it injected via needle or applied as cream/gel
Here in Australia, we have access to everything to do the procedures safely. However no one actively does body mods other than standard tattoo/piercing. I’m covered in tattoos to the point where I’m almost out of canvas and want to dive into sub dermal implants, being a virgin to the body mod scene (not for long) im kind of sceptical on the numbing process but don’t want to feel anything!
I look forward to reading the comments you guys drop!

I would not suggest doing your own subdermal implants with absolutely no training. Just being able to buy the anesthetic doesn't mean it's safe to just go ahead and use it willy nilly.
There are artists that travel.

Also, it's incorrect to say there's nobody actively doing heavier mods in Australia. I would look up Joeltron (Stone Heart Body Art in Sydney / Opal Heart Body Art in Perth) and talk to him about options. Currently he's in WA and cannot cross borders due to lockdowns, but it would be worth your while to wait for him to be available.
I haven't seen Joeltron in person since the hysteria over Brendan B-Slice, so I'm not sure if he's gone a bit quiet on the heavy mods front to protect his business, but he is capable and has in the past performed such procedures (including heavy genital mods and implants).
