Hello folks,
I am researching the different types of materials people have used to create subdermal implants. I know there is a type of medical grade glass, but I do not know the name of it. I literally just want the names of materials. Then I will do more research into their different properties. Are there any metals that the body won't start to grow into? I don't think there are. I mean I know titanium is used in medical procedures, but that's because the body starts to fuse to it. What I am looking for is specifically materials that can be taken back out with the same size incision that was used to put it in. The harder and/or more durable the material the better! Any help or direction would be greatly appreciated.
Anyone know the name of the type of glass I am referring to? If so, where can I get things made of it?
Thank you!!

Agreed with Justine. If you had the medical knowledge to do the procedures you are investigating, you would already have the information you are requesting here. This is not an iced earlobe with a potato backstop, this is something that could kill you. See a professional.
