Hello,
I really want to get a scarification design above my heart, and perhaps a larger symmetrical one encompassing the heart one like how a tree would stand out in a landscape painting.
I am just at the beginning stages of bodybuilding and know I wont quit as I have thankfully switched my addiction from substances to sports and health, and for other reasons too that you most probably dont want to know of.
Do scars stretch as badly as tattoos do? What about deeper cut scars? Im not sure weather I want a raised and thick healed scarification or to go for a white out surface level scar.
Your information is much appreciated.

That's a pretty complicated question for us to answer. I'm not sure where you are located but if you are in the US I highly recommend contacting Ryan Oulette at Precision Body Arts in New Hampshire. He is an amazing artist and incredibly knowledgeable. Even if you aren't in his area his work is 100% worth traveling for. He is also super nice and I think would be happy to talk to you about your ideas.

Scars don't stretch in the same way tattoos do because the skin has been damaged; ideally, tattoos don't actually cause damage. I would absolutely recommend against scarification until your body is in a state it is likely to stay in, or at least shrink from.
I second Justine's advice to contact Ryan - you can see the work he has done on me at my website.
