I finally got the hang of making pizza sauce, and then ended up eating an entire salami and red onion pizza by myself. I regret nothing.

Had proper banh mi for the first time in a long time last night and was so good. Also, tofu spring rolls.

My friend has a cafe and he makes an amazing bahn me. He also make delicious Cubanos. Jealous. I freaking love banh mi and there's a great place right around the corner from where I work but they're always stupid busy 24/7 and I don't have enough time for lunch. Massive sandwich stuffed with veg and meaty deliciousness for cheap? Yes, pls.

Yah my friend's place gets PACKED sometimes but they do call ahead orders so that is awesome. You should see if the place near you would do that! There are a few places around here that no one knows they will do that.

Oh god banh mi is amazing. There's this incredible chain in my city run by a lovely Vietnamese family who do an incredible one - marinated tofu puffs, braised onions, and a random squirt of soy sauce on top of the pickly deliciousness. It's the best sandwich I have ever had in my life. And I'm not a Sandwich Guy to begin with.

This tiny independent place here has an an egg banh mi on their breakfast menu and a tofu banh mi at lunch. They source most of their ingredients from local farmers and pickle all the veggies in house. They're fantastic.

There are a few places around here that no one knows they will do that. They do call ahead, but during the lunch rush the wait is still 40+ minutes and I don't have a set time for lunch anyway, so it makes thints challenging.

Anyone have dinner/meal ideas for ground chicken? Google just gives me a bunch of meatball recipes. :/

Ground chicken can be pretty bland, so if I use it I always do something with a lot of spice like chilli or tacos.

Ive tried to use it and like it on several occasions but I just get irritated with it. Haha. Maybe I'll give it another go for the sake of my BF's stomach.
