She left a fucking piano, among other giant furniture.
The tent does look virgin, I don't think it's ever been used. It's extremely clean. And oh YES I'm gonna get up in there - my husband has been wanting to go camping for a while and we have a romantic weekend planned in Oklahoma in May and will definitely be taking this with us!

Took more things to donate yesterday. Big bag of stuffed animals, small aquarium with random brand new supplies, and a couple bags of random items. Feels so good to get rid of things I don't use anymore.

My apartment complex changed trash service providers recently (good riddance, the last folks would throw boxes/recycling off the roof of the garage because they didnt want lug ther bins down in the elevator) so now we have to trash cans.
I didnt have space for two cans to sit neatly, so, of course, the only logical solution is to completely reorganize my entire apartment. I've donated six contractor size bags of clothing, linens, furniture, kitchen items, and other stuff that I was holding onto for god knows why. Ive reorganized every shelf, cabinet, and drawer in the whole apartment.
Feels so good. Feels lighter.

I started going through my spare room today. It had collected a bunch of empty boxes and things I haven't used or thought about since moving in last Spring. Trying to get it to the point I'm comfortable with making it a guest room should the need arise. I'll be making a trip to Goodwill or another non-profit later today to drop off a load of items. And I'll need to take cardboard to the recycling drop off too. It's crazy how much you can collect without even realizing.

i hope its okay that i revive this thread!
i've been going at my room for the past couple months now b/c i'm moving (this month!!!!) and i've gotten rid of SO. MUCH. SHIT.
it's crazy, i live in a kind of small room in my parent's house. how do i have this much shit. like, at least 3-4 garbage bags of things have gotten tossed or donated.
along with my books, knick knacks, toys/plushies, etc., i've also had to purge a lot of clothes as i've lost weight and like at least 1/3 of my closet didn't fit anymore.
it feels good but it's also stressful cuz i'm a mild hoarder (thanks, mom's side of the family!)
honestly just excited to have things i love and use/wear a lot c:

I dropped off 6 boxes and 2 trash bags at the thrift store today! Some of it was stuff that I moved with in July that I had intended to donate right away, but at least it's gone now. My basement closet feels much more spacious now!

My kid and I managed to fill about 14 big garbage bags of stuff over the past couple of weeks as we switched rooms. Between old clothes, old papers, and random other things we managed to get a good lot done. Now just to get to the rest of the apartment. But it is coming along!
