Hi guys! Finally have a moment to sit and compile a thread of my recent works. I'm a coppersmith with a focus on electroplating and electroforming of organic materials. The majority of my pieces draw on Germanic/Norse Mythology, and I try to tell a story with each amulet from its creation, to the materials it's made with. Many of the materials I use are ones that I've foraged for myself, and in the case of some minerals, I've even polished them from roughs. Each piece takes a minimum of 5 hours just to turn into copper, not counting the time I spend setting the materials, carving/sculpting components, adding patina, and polishing. The time that has to go into each pieces helps me pay respect to the materials the earth has made for me to utilize. Here are some of my favorites; I hope you'll all enjoy!
