Today, I am mad at myself for procrastinating. I have a rough draft of a big paper due tomorrow, and I haven't been able to really bring myself to work on it at all, so I have a ton of research to reread and write 20 pages tonight. So that's cool.

I hate having neighbors. I just got home and was looking forward to relaxing and they are blasting some bass heavy music. I can't wait to move!

I'm annoyed with myself because I managed to forget I have a concert I'm going to next week, and scheduled my iud insertion for that day. I can totally reschedule, but I still feel like a dumbass.

The accountant at work put down that I missed 2 work days on the report to ICBC. What the fuck I've missed like 50 days in a year (and at that point I had missed close to 3 weeks on and off), I wish it was two. fricken. days. Now I'm all stressed out this is going to create problems because in her mind, I somehow only missed TWO DAYS. Fuck.

I'm pissed off over the fact that my hea office expects me to babysit a 64yo man who rouutinely has shitfits over every little change that happens at work and claims that we're trying to push him out of a job. More paperwork? Bitching for at least a week. Adding another patrol to each shift? Cue the kicking and pouting. Change to paperlesss reporting (all the reports are done on the computer and emailed off)...you would swear that the world was ending. It was bad enough that he gave a one-week notice in an attempt to make us back down, but that backfired in his face because we didn't back down so in a panic he called the local office and lied through his teeth about the situation, even though I'm the same level of management as anybody at the office, and the changes cannot be undone by anybody but the client we work for. That was a veery interesting phone call, and as far as I'm concerned he should have been fired right then.
Instead the office is insisting that I do whatever I can to talk the guy into staying, other than undoing the changes that the client has put in place. This guard is a 64yo man-child who is used to getting his way by threatening to quit, but I don't play that way. Unless head office makes me...which fucking sucks donkey balls -_-

So I was able to get through 15 pages last night before I gave up and called it good enough for a rough draft. Got to class today, and most people turned in less than 5 pages as their drafts. Soooooo glad I stayed up til 4 am writing.

Damn I'm jealous of your determination. I've been trying all day to write a lab report and it's just. not. happening.

Ngl I've bitched about this multiple times, but it always pisses me off when someone comes into the ladies room at work, complains dramatically about how it smells (as most public bathrooms do, duh), and then proceed to spray an ungodly amount of scented spray. I can barely breathe and can taste the spray in my mouth.

I ordered some lip balms for me and a friend on Etsy, 2 weeks ago today. The shop says 3-5 business days to make and ship them, fine. 10 days later they still hadn't shipped, so I messaged the seller asking about it. She didn't reply, but instead just marked them shipped on the 31st with a note saying "These will be taken to the post office no later than the 1st." It's now the 4th and it still shows it sitting at her house, the post office doesn't even have it yet. If there's a delay, fine, whatever, but could you just message me and tell me that? Two weeks for some fucking lip balms and it'll probably be closer to 3 by the time I get them. There are plenty of other sellers on Etsy that I'm more than happy to take my money to, make the damn effort.

I had this same problem buying lip balms from an Etsy seller actually. 3 - 5 days definitely took over three weeks.

I just checked, it was Honey Bee Holistic. Their lip balm was also just pretty much flavored coconut oil so it was a bummer.

Avoid Debaucherous Bath, too.
My last order took four months to receive and they did the marking it shipped but it never actually made to the post thing two months in. The order was made at the end of November and I expected a delay because of Christmas, but it didn't actually get into my hands until mid-March.
