I make stuff out of copper and neat stones now    Finished this one yesterday:  I made a pair of weights too, and have another new weight design in the works. |

Is this a good thread to put dancing pics? Because I have dancing pics All photography by my boyfriend who is also responsible for any photoshopping/background etc. I am still a hoops/lyra n00b but photos are fun:  A couple of shots with my polefriend Cie, who bought us the costumes. We had some challenges taking doubles shots together because we look nothing alike - she is larger and I am little, so we found anything we did in symmetrical shapes made her look wide and me look short. We had good success with asymmetry:   Also, I did a topless set. I've been wanting to do this for ages and I love the shots so much.   I have more, but the boy hasn't processed them yet, still waiting (impatiently, but it was only fair he took care of the paying customers first haha). |

Petra I didn't know you make weights now! Maybe I will get some! I'm more hippie than donut-freak. I love your donuts but never felt I would wear them enough  I would wear cute little pinecones <3 Yay another cross stitch fan! I totally hate how longggg it takessss! I just can't wait to have it finished! (Maybe in another year and a half) lol |

My last big embroidery project was a recreation of a panel of the Bayeux tapastry. It took me almost a year and by the end of it, I hated it so much. As much as I love historical recreation pieces I don't think I will be doing a large one again. |

It kind of turned into me making things just because I needed money, not because I enjoyed what I was doing. Which is pretty much a guaranteed way to burn out as an artist  But now I want to keep alllllll the things! If you find seeds or stones or bones, I can turn those into jewels for you too |

Crafts you say? After moving back to KY this summer I've been procrastinating my responsibilities and picked up the crafts again. I've been re-learning to sew. My hope is to make the things I need when I'm out in the field big goal is a hiking backpack that is.. MACHINE WASHABLE, lightweight, and has all the tiny compartments for the tiny tools I loose in the bottom of my current bags. Photo Dumps:     |

I bet it is amazing I don't have much in the way of video... we did a showcase earlier in the year but the video man was super disappointing, he only had his camera on half the stage (hence only one of the stage poles) so he missed parts of my performance, and he didn't even get any good still photos of me I do need to get my boy to reshoot it in the studio for me, because it was a cool routine and it'd be a shame for it to die. Having said that, I'm totally not an amazing dancer, haha. I've been doing it for a number of years and I've got some cool tricks, but I don't do it enough to be more than an ok amateur. It's super fun though. I *do* have somewhere a video of a Hallowe'en class I did with my intermediate students last year, where I got them to dress up, and we put together a little bit of choreography and montage to Sweet Transvestite. I'll see if I can dig it up Also I got the rest of the pics back from my lyra hoop shoot.  Tim had some fun with backgrounds and lens flares:
