Double post because chantrierimoon - your new stuff is beautiful, I've seen it pop up on my feed a few times and I've been watching pretty keenly. It's a bit out of my price point at the moment but I'd love some of your new hanging designs sometime soon

It's a bit out of my price point at the moment but I'd love some of your new hanging designs sometime soon Thanks so much! I've spent the last three days making a new pair of weights/hoops with carnelian fishes in them, excited and nervous to see how they turn out. I also swore I'd never make another miniature thing again, but turns out coppersmithing miniatures is way more fun. Finished this today:

That's gorgeous Petra!
Does anyone have any recommendations for iron on letters that hold up well with washing?

Petra, I am super digging your new work. The rings remind me of Shannon Larratt's cast work but more wearable, and I love the hook style on the leaf weights. Super hyped to see what else you come up with!

Petraaaa that's so beautiful <3 <3 Thank you <3 That's gorgeous Petra! Does anyone have any recommendations for iron on letters that hold up well with washing? Thanks! Not sure about actual letters, but I've used Heat and Bond iron on products many a time with great success. They make sheets and rolls that can be cut to size, could be good reinforcement on the letters. Thanks so much! I've spent the last three days making a new pair of weights/hoops with carnelian fishes in them, excited and nervous to see how they turn out. Please share these whenever they're finished. Will do! I need to recalibrate my voltage settings and do a second plating round because they came out a little wonk. Another 5 hours and they should be good Petra, I am super digging your new work. The rings remind me of Shannon Larratt's cast work but more wearable, and I love the hook style on the leaf weights. Super hyped to see what else you come up with! So sweet, thank you! I have a couple Shannon rings on my work bench watching over me, definitely inspired by him

That's awesome, I can see the inspo I have a Shannon ring talisman too - I wore the shit out of it but the enamel is fading and the quartz has taken a few chips so I'm trying to preserve it now. Which ones did you snag? (sorry to derail!)

Here's the video I mentioned, with my intermediate girls from last year's Hallowe'en class ^_^ I'm not in it much, it was more for them, but you can catch glimpses of me on the stage in thigh boots and pigtails.

Petra, I'm drooling over here over your stuff. I'm taking a jewelry and metals class rn and am taking the second one next semester so metalsmithing is all up my alley rn. You should make a thread for your stuff like you used to have.

Note to anyone interested: aerosol glitter has horrible blowback even from a few inches away. Plus side: my favorite pants are now sparkly and fabulous. Merry Christmas, indeed.
