stocked up on stuff I use on a regular basis with the 20% sale at Sephora. combined it with the things my mom wanted as well and managed to get to vib rogue status until the end of next year, woo. debating about whether I want/need/should get a few things online but I'm trying to stay on a budget.

I intended this to show my sad higher nostril, but it was also a decent shot of my brows (which I'm ok with today) and shadow (which I'm very eh about).

What do y'all do to store your makeup? I'm trying to make everything as compact as possible, and am looking for inspiration. Currently I'm using little acrylic organizers, but it just looks so... bad.

I'm currently using a 3-drawer plastic case I think I got at Target, but other similar stores should have them. It just fits most of my makeup. I still have to keep my ColourPop lippie stix in a coffee mug because there isn't enough from in my lip product drawer. I also have some extra lip products I rarely wear sitting on top of the case. Top drawer is eye stuff, middle is lip products, and bottom is face and my 3 Kat Von D eye palettes.

Some of my makeup I have in one of those desk organizers, with vertical sections meant for envelopes and paper, pens etc (works well for brushes and palettes and bottles). It has a shallow drawer along the bottom, I keep my powders and liquid liners in there. I have another organizer for my eyeliners, mascara, concealera and lipsticks.

Currently I'm using little acrylic organizers, but it just looks so... bad. I have what I rarely use in a case under my desk, what I use on a daily basis out on top of my dresser and what I use on a semi basis or extras of stuff (sometimes I'll stock up on things if it's on sale or I'm there for just 1 thing) in one of the small drawers of the dresser. On my dresser I have everything lines up that I use on a daily basis. Brushes, tweezers etc are in a tin can I got for Christmas one year on my dresser.

I just got my first Mac lipstick because I'm a sucker for Star Trek and Kling It On looked like an interesting color. Almost got the blue eye shadow from the collection too, but I don't wear eye shadow much so it'd probably just be a waste... Jeffree Star is announcing new shades today too for the holiday so goodbye $$$ Which ones of his holiday shades did you like most? I ttly fell for Deceased and Sagittarius but I probably wouldn't need both of them c: Definitely going to pick up Deceased and Designer Blood. I have Unicorn Blood, but he said Designer is supposed to be cool toned, which is what I want from unicorn blood but it's too rusty. Slight chance I'll get Chrysanthemum or Checkmate, but I don't NEED either and I'm not totally in love with them. I'll see when he puts the official product photos up so I can compare better.

Ooohh I really like this idea, I might have to try something like that. Thanks everyone for sharing! I'm going to have to search around for some desk organizers or drawers or something as well for more everyday stuff.

Currently I have everything on a desk with some plastic drawers in an open space, shelves and some desk organizers. Its still a hot mess...
I need to come up with a system that will work long term, but I havent found it yet

Also... I dont know if I've said it before... I am LOVING the Tarte Rainforest of the Sea foundation. It blends so well, the coverage can be super light or full depending on how much you use. I've tried to go back to my MUFE foundation a few times and it just doesnt work as well for me, and that was my go to, must have, for a long time. The shade range is lacking but I think they have expanded it once already, but Im not sure on that. I also love how it smells, its a gentle, soft scent.

Those of you that follow my IG probably saw these pics already. I'm wearing Blue Velvet by JSC today and I'm happily surprised by how much I like it on me I think I could've gone bolder on the eye makeup to make it more obviously red but the combo is otherwise neat!

Blue Velvet looks so good with your skin tone.

I love how it contrasts with the colour of your hair.
