I'm so freaking frustrated with my skin. For years I've been using neem oil in olive oil and it's kept my horrible cystic acne away. Even if I skipped a day or two I wouldn't get huge painful blind zits. But in the last ~6 months I've been struggling with blackheads and tiny bumps on my skin. So I've been experimenting with other acne medication. Now I have a MASSIVE zit. It's the size of a nickel, has no white head and hurts so badly I can feel it down to my teeth. It's freaking awful. I had forgotten how bad it hurts. I probably look like I've been bitten by a spider. And I still have blackheads and bumpy skin.

Blue Velvet looks so good with your skin tone. I love how it contrasts with the colour of your hair. Tank youu! First time I tried it on I thought it was too dark but it is a strong enough blue for me to pull it off Today I wore JSC Mannequin for the first time and it's everything that I wanted Celebrity Skin to be! It's just perfect and doesn't look too brown on my ghoulish skin tone I recommend it to anyone that's iffy about I'm Nude for example. I also went to the KICKS makeup shop and spent some of my birthday moneys. I got their Baked Blusher in Honeymoon (The one in the middle here <3),which is so sparkly and warm and prettyyy. I really like shimmery blushes lately, that way I don't *have to* use highlighters at all - as if that was a chore to begin with. I nabbed a concealer trio with a more orangey-shade as part of them since I feel like I need that under my eyes to really cancel out the blue, a pair of Ardell eyelashes and a C-vitamin moisturizer. Just fyi...

Those can be wonderful for the blackheads. The tiny bumps might go away with the extractor too.

Those can be wonderful for the blackheads. The tiny bumps might go away with the extractor too. I do! But the blackheads are mostly on my cheeks and the tissue is like too soft or something? The extractor just squashes in and nothing comes out. It works fine on my forehead and nose. If you have any awesome extractor tip I'm all ears. I just figured out that the bumps on my cheeks are called milia. I haven't had a name for it before and now that I do it feels like maybe I can solve it.

If they are truly milia, then they should likely look similar to whiteheads, or be white/clear-ish. I have some on my face. All of the reading I've done about them so far has told me that you can use a needle or something to poke a teeny hole right next to the milia, then extract with a comedone extractor, but a visit to a dermatologist is recommended as they'd know how to extract them as safely as possible. I have one close to my eye that I thought I extracted, but either it came back or it was never gone. I've been getting more recently and I can't tell if it's because of how I've cared for my skin. :/ I don't take BAD care of it, but I also would say my skincare routine is fairly minimalistic.

wtfox, go check out dr pimple popper on YouTube. She uses an extractor and her vids can give you a good idea on what to try.

I was watching one of her videos once and grossed out my boyfriend. It was the one where the woman had a massive growth in her arm that looked a muscle and the doctor just massaged it out.

Any recs for a good tinted moisturizer from the drug store? More concerned about the moisturizing part, and want to even out my skin tone a bit. I have combo dry/normal skin. TIA. 😊

Star Trek lipstick came in the mail! It'd be more fun if it were sunny so the red sparkles showed up more though.

I'm late re: make-up storage, but I just cleaned so here's some photos. I'm using file holders to hold my eyeshadow palettes: Vases/flowerpot things to hold clean brushes: And I'm using the bottom three drawers in this lingerie chest to hold eye stuff, face stuff and lip stuff:

I want to touch all those brushes. Like, run my hand over the top of them. I won't, because I hate when people touch mine, but I want to.
