So neat Petra - your gentian isn't as bad as mine was! Curious to see the difference of red vs. violet though - mine healed to a clean true white with gentian, I wonder if that helped any. I did a thing & found some pics of my white ink to show fresh, healing + current (that day, one week, 3 years). The latter picture is terrible because my tattoo is so subtle now - all the ink held perfectly, I'm just really fucking pale.

Both pieces are beautiful nossie. Typically I try not to factor pain into these things, especially since pain is subjective, and I'm not really with this one per se. More than anything, I'm just interested if there were maybe any particular spots that may have been sensitive to some when they got theirs or anything along those lines.

My tattoo's. -Top left one (starfish) was my first one, I got it done with my mom. Yay mother daughter bonding tattoos <3 ;D -The heart on my wrist was my second one. It is a friendship tattoo that me and my, over a decade old, friend group have gotten. All of our hearts are completely different and on different parts of our body. They just celebrate our friendship. It is a little wonky but I kind of love it for that. It reminds me of when we were in middle school and would doodle all over each other with pens and sharpies. <3 -My third one was the tree. No major meaning. My sister, mother, and myself wanted a sort of 'family' tattoo and we all agreed on this one. A sort of 'family tree' 'nature' kind of thing. I think it looks pretty and I like it.

I just wrote an tattoo artist who has an 9+ month waiting list for an tattoo idea.. I so hope he is interested and wants to do it, and honestly I don't care waiting so long because I wouldn't want it done until the end of next year anyway xD

If I failed to mention anything besides the knee as a more sensitive spot, I could add that out towards the sides is a tad worse than the center of the thigh. Still though, it'll be fun seeing your tattoo if/when you get it if you decide to share!

So this summer my wife and I bought a house. It was super tricky with my anxiety issues. But every time we had some progress I would find toads at work.
I had a consult with my artist Saturday and I am getting an American toad on my left calf. Neo-traditional style!

I'll definitely give it a share here on the forums.

I've shown this guy before but it's a new forum, may as well show off our tattoos again.

Mine have reached the horrifying zombie scab stage of healing hand tattoos, day 7: I was getting worried, but in a couple of spots where the scabs have fallen away, is beautiful perfect scar-like white just as I had hoped. But holy hell are my knuckles still sore. Also Martha, I don't remember seeing that kitty before, but I love it.

we aren't finished with this yet, but i want to post because i can't fucking contain myself. my roomie has been fixing up the tattoos on my arm that my former employer did, and i can't handle how much better they look already. :\ just comparing his "black" to her black makes me laugh. (in this picture the owl & tree are healed, the black in the bat is fresh) for the bat we did a session of white first, and then started on the black. we have to finish up the black and then we're gonna do another round of white, and potentially some more black after that. i seriously could cry over how much happier i am already.
