I roasted some veggies last night and threw in a few whole garlic cloves. They were super delicious at the time, but now I'm wondering how many times I'll have to brush my teeth before I stop tasting garlic.

Can you salvage it with cheese and sour cream? You could also eat it over rice or a baked potato. Or turn it into chili cheese dip!

Hahaha you guys, my mum took the failed meringue I was gonna use for sorbet and made cupcakes (or tried to). They sunk because of the high aquafaba content so it's literally a plate of ALL the crispy delicious bits brownies have and soft interiors. Brownie rubble. It tastes incredible. I love failures sometimes.

I started making an effort to eat healthier a few months ago. I gave up on being strict about at a while back but I still haven't been eatfast food or premise food from packets. Then I ate Burger King earlier because I was on the go all day and i just needed something convenient, and holy shit a can feel how bad it is for you. My heart rate is elevated and my skin, especially my face, is so hot I feel like I just ran 5 miles.

I feel like I'm in a food rut. Summer and fall produce is slowing down so I'm digging through my winter repertoire and it all feels kind of blah. Chili, beef stew, roast beast. What does everybody else make for dinner in sweater weather? I'm a big fan of soups and such. I love to make a black bean soup w/ cornbread when it's cold. Maybe add in some andouille or italian sausage if u like that or want it to be more filling. I also like to make butternut squash risotto. It can take a bit though because both the squash and the risotto rice take a while to cook. It also is not super great left over... it turns into a starch blob, so I try to only make as much as we can eat in one sitting. ETA: hah old quote is old again. Still getting a hang of the new forums and I guess my last-read post in this thread was forever ago. My b. asclepiads: that torte is cute AF. so seasonal & festive.

I didn't want to leave work the other day for lunch so I ordered indian food. But then I didn't want to pay delivery so I ordered $40 dollars of indian food... also the resteraunt i ordered from is legit a block away.
