Has anyone here tried glossier? I was really exited about them but i bought a few things and im really disappointed :/ I ordered boybrow, which is really good but kinda sad they dont have an option for gingers/redheads. I got blonde which works but id prefer something that emphasised my haircolour more. I got the lipgloss, which is nice in that its moisturising and isnt gritty or anything, but its still just as sticky as most glosses. And i got milky jelly cleaner which is the main issue. I wanted to love it so bad because it goes on so nicely and smells really good and stuff and it says hypoallergenic on the website, but ive had an allergic reaction to it so i cant use it anymore I really like glossiers "look" and the idea behind their skincare and haircare, but im hesitant to try more now cause i dont want any more rashes on my face. Has anyone got recommendations on what to get/not get? Or does anyone know of a good moisturising/conditioning cleanser that doesnt completely strip your face? Thats what i wanted milky jelly cleanser for so Btw didnt know whether to post this in makeup or skincare, i went with skincare since i guess thats my main concern, sorry if that was the wrong choice I've not tried glossier, but as far as cleansers go my favourite is the boots no. 7 hot cloth cleanser. It's a really good makeup remover but also gentle, doesn't sting my eyes at all or strip my skin, just leaves it feeling clean and doesn't irritate. It's almost always on 3 for 2, or you can use those £5 off no. 7 vouchers that boots seem to hand out fairly often.

Reviving this!
I'm pretty sick of my clarisonic. Yes, it works great, but replacing brush heads is expensive AF and it will only hold a charge for 2-3 uses at a time now.
I'm looking at the foreo line because 1) no replacing brush heads, 2) it holds a charge for 5 months at a time, and 3) supposedly it is gentler than the clarisonic.
Buuuut, I don't want to drop $200 on something just to try and see if I like it or not. I found a knockoff luna 2 at TJmaxx for $7 and e.l.f. makes one for $20.
Does anyone have a foreo luna that can attest to it being worth it?

i started an actual skincare routine!
i've been using la roche-posay's toleriane hydrating gentle cleanser & lipikar daily mosturizing lotion. i've also been using no7's total renewal exfoliator once a week or so and it's the first exfoliator that has ever worked well for me.

Womp womp. BUT target sells a Sonic cleanser (pop sonic leaflet) for $40 and it has 9 speeds, is USB rechargeable, and has a point-ier shape that is better for crevices. I've been using it for three days now and it's pretty great. The only annoying part is that it doesnt "remember" the last power setting it was set on every time you turn it off.

Guess whos developed an allergy to her deoderant! I have huge rashes! I cannot lift my arms! Ow! 🙃
Anyone have recommendations for deoderants/antiperspirants that are good for sensitive skin (and preferably cruelty free)?
I dont sweat loads so doesnt have to be super strong. Im going to go to a lush and get a couple testers of their deoderants to tide me over, since two of them look like they shouldn't irritate me and will let this rash go down, but i cant afford to have another lush product in my daily routine right now.
My skin is so sensitive its so annoying -.-

my skin is prone to eczema, so i only use gentle products. i've been using dove solid antiperspirant for a couple decades now. the "clear" version doesn't work for sweat on me, but they've never upset my skin.

My skin is so sensitive its so annoying -.- FWIW, Lush actually contains a shit ton of ingredients, and many sensitive skin folks can't tolerate it. But give it a go! I think you're UK right? If it's available in the UK, I've heard really good things about MooGoo's Fresh Cream deodorant (& their products in general for sensitive skin folks). Their range is cruelty free too with heaps of vegan options. No idea what the availability is like but they seem to have a UK website.

I use Tom's of Maine antiperspirant - it's one of the only vegan and cruelty free antiperspirants that I know if (besides Jack Black, which is insanely expensive). Maybe try that one? I love the smell of Native deodorants, but I personally need the antiperspirant because I am a sweaty person.

I bought into the social media hype and purchaded some of the scent-free Lume recently and 1) it actually smells like nothing, which is weird; and 2) it actually works. Full disclosure: I'm a super sweaty person had been using dove for years until it started giving me an awful rash.

Thankyou all for the suggestions, i will probably try all of them aha Didn't know scent free deoderant/antiperspirant was even an option, i know fragrance is one of my major irritants so will probably try that one first 👍
I did go and get a couple of samples from lush - i actually recently watched a video about how much fragrance they put in their products, really a shame because i do like a lot of their stuff and their ~message~, but I'll probably develop allergies to it all eventually :/ but, in the meantime, i got a couple bits designed for sensitive skin and they seem to be ok, will tide me over until i get something i like at least.
Also Lish thats a really good idea, i actually have a bunch of backups of my current deoderant that i bought on sale (which i now cant use) as well so we shall see. Usually i wouldn't be bothered honestly but we're pretty skint at the moment and i really dont want to waste any money
Also yeah im in the UK ^-^

anyone ever experience a random outbreak of acne only on one side of their face?
i've had breakouts before obviously but never this many blemishes at once, and they're literally only on my right cheek. they also don't feel like normal zits -- they're almost all totally flat and don't have heads or anything. they've been sticking around for a few months now. i tried switching to a more gentle detergent, washing my pillowcase more often, avoiding sleeping on that side as much. i use a gentle facial cleanser and moisturizer twice a day. also trying to drink more water. i don't have health insurance rn so i can't see a dermatologist.
i'm dealing with a baaad patch of dry scaly scalp at the same time and i just feel like a fuckin goblin pls advise

Is there anything else that mostly only touches that side of your face? Maybe you rest your head in your hand there? Or that's where your phone hits if you're right handed?
