So my Nasty Woman necklace was annoying me - the links on either side of the pendant are big enough that they spin around and it flips over, it would tilt all over the place, and the clasp was on the left (I prefer it on the right) I switched the chain so it hangs vertically, added a bead from a necklace I got in a swap (from Bunnysaur I want to say? The chain will be used with another pendant I have!), and swapped the clasp to be right handed. Much better.

the mark of a strong pro is when that shit looks easy
i mean you make it look like i could do it, & we all know that would work for about .001 seconds before i called the ambulance.

Thank you ^_^ Having a butt has advantages. In moves like the one above (which, in the absence of better advice from Dirdybirdy, I'll be calling the "Dirty Dove") a bit of arse gives you so much more grip. It's more the underbutt cleavage rather than just wedging it in your crack, because nobody actually likes a buttcrack grip (like this one, known as the 'Thinker'). One of my partner's friends posted a pic of herself a couple of days ago doing a move we call the Side Saddle Superman and hashtagged it with #easierifyoudonthaveabooty. I heartily disagree, especially if we're talking about that move, but don't feel like I know her well enough to discuss the relative merits of booty sizes. On a side note, does anyone mind me posting these here? It may come off as narcissistic, but that's not my intention - I just love pole. Can make a separate thread if these are clogging up the arts thread

Ok, but next time I post one I won't mute the video. The mute button makes it seem easier because you can't hear the grunts Fun fact: When you're teaching a class how to do shoulder mounts, a good way to make them all fall down again is to tell them on the way up that their grunts and moans sound like a room full of sex noises. Shoulder mounts are hard to hold when you're laughing.

I have no problem with you posting in here, but it would also be cool if you made a dedicated thread.

My husband bought me a skein of Malabrigo Rios (love this yarn so much) for xmas, and I just finished this scarf/shawl. Pattern is "The age of brass and steam". It's just long enough now it's blocked to wrap around without feeling like it'll fall off. This is how much I had left at cast-off. I was so stressed. Before and during blocking: I'm already almost done with the same pattern in fingering weight yarn. And I'll probably be making it again in Rios but I'll use two skeins next time for a bigger scarf.

Beautiful yarn!
Wenda, those videos are awesome. When I see people doing beautiful physical activity it makes me wish I had been able to keep up with figure skating when I was younger. I wasn't bad, and it would have been fun to learn some of the fancier moves.

DAT SHAWL DOE
I love Malabrigo. Hnnnngh. I've been hoarding two or three skeins of it for years because I haven't found the ~exact right pattern~ to use it for. Mostly I just squeeze it and make creepy noises.

oh hi! so i've been painting a bunch lately & i thought i'd share. i forget where i left off on BAF, so i'll just start fresh here. (sorry about the photo quality of the first few; i'll retake those... sometime.) based on the idea that a "heart shape" was meant to portray two hearts together: a companion piece to the above, a portrait of the first gun i owned: this is strung through the center, so if i'm suffering depression i can hang it aimed at the heart with bullets loading it; normal life has it facing away & emptying out: i did a big ol' portrait of pyramid head 'cause i love him: a ton more photos & procedurals at this linki made this to hang over my bedroom door, with a ton of texture on the black: more shots here& now i'm working on a 36x48" portrait of trico from "the last guardian". at that size canvas, hung across the room from where i usually sit, it'll basically be lifesize. :D i'll post him when he's finished; or if anyone wants to see procedurals, let me know.
