Double post, don't care. I'm still reading Alan Moore's Jerusalem. About 30% of it is brilliant and makes you want to stand up and cheer. 40% is slow going but readable. The final 30% makes you want to fly to England, go to Northhampton and slap him in the face with a slipper for not letting anyone edit his book.

That's a compelling argument for reading it! I'm attempting to reread Infinite Jest by David Foster Wallace. I have a fear of flying that necessitates the use of Valium, which, as it turns out, is really handy for attempting to read this fucking book.. so I guess it's going to be my plane buddy from now on? It took me a month to finish it the first time.

I'm a ginormous Mercedes Lackey fan, but due to finances being a bit tight for a bit I had to wait to start picking up her newest trilogy 'The Herald Spy'. Now I just have to read it...if I can find time between re-reading the Discworld series.

Finally getting started with Library of Souls (The third Miss Peregrine Book). I have to say... I was enormously let down by the Tim Burton movie. I expected so much more!

Bringing back a nearly archaic thread because books are my jam. I'm currently reading 19 Minutes by Jodi Picoult. Super good but really dark.

I'm reading book 2 in the Six of Crows series. It's okay. Before that I read Gold, Fame, Citrus which was really good. It's a well written post-apocolpytic book.

I'm not really one for post-apocalypse, but I did read Margaret Atwood's Oryx and Crake for class. It wasn't awful. My boyfriend loved Six of Crows and I really liked the Grisha trilogy, so I'm pretty interested in that duology!

I'm just finishing The Girl Who Played with Fire. I forgot about it for a while >.<
I'm also finally reading Game of Thrones! I've had the book for about 10 years, no joke.

i've been working on the southern reach trilogy (unsettling sci-fi horror written by a local dude!). i read the first one, annihilation, in a couple days. LOVED IT. authority is taking me a lot longer. imo it's jarringly different from the first book, which i both hate & love. it's a lot slower-paced or something. it's weird.

The second book in the series is rough! I opened it and went "Who the fuck is this guy?" It's a slower read than book one or book three. I think it's worth just powering through and oddly enough I think it's the book I remember the the most about. I'm currently reading book three of the Felix Castor series, Dead Men's Boots. I don't love them, but there's something that keeps me reading them. I just found out, like within the last two days, that they're written by the guy who wrote The Girl With All The Gifts. Which is a really entertaining book.

Currently reading Wolf in the Attic on my phone. When I'm done, I'm going to read I am Malala, which has been sitting on my shelf for about a year and I still haven't read it.
