It still needs to be washed and tumbled dried so the yarn will fluff up a little bit but it's done

Finished this a few weeks ago, finally got it framed! Since I'm sorta in-between projects right now (lol jk just avoiding my project on linen that I'm pretending I'm not working on) I made a couple small stitches. I turned my favorite tik tok's into magnets. Link to the video My husband always drinks 'normal milk' but I've never been able to, even as a kid I lived off the chocolate stuff. Link to video This one made me laugh so hard I cried. I've watched it probably 200 times. I can't stop. Send help.

I made this for someone at work (best picture I took lol), typically left it until the last minute and finished it around 1am the night before. I'm pretty happy with it, would probably use more strands of black next time tho. First stitch people! I dunno why I'm being so critical anyway, she loved it so much she cried! And an update on my Dimensions Aurora Cabin (started December 2018). Right side is complete, left side is very close. I originally wanted to complete it by December 2019 but I didn't and now also haven't worked on it for 3 months lol

Kirsty, I love the stitch people portrait!!! The cat looks perfect. I want their new wedding book so bad, but I don't know anybody getting married to justify getting it for gift making yet. I finished this a couple of days ago. It's based on artwork from Amy of Fat Cat Artistry and stitched with her permission, now hanging in my bathroom. I was determined to finish it before the Animal Crossing release, since now I'm playing that instead of stitching at all. My hand is painfully swollen from rushing through it, anytime I marathon stitch I get trigger finger tendonitis swelling

It means a lot coming from you too - you're one of my inspirations to start cross stitching from seeing all your beautiful work <3 I LOVE this too oh my god. What fabric did you use? Is it linen?! I've only used 14ct and 16ct (aurora borealis kit) aida so far lol

Aw, shucks 🥰🥰
It's actually 14ct grey aida! I started one one 22ct but it was a larger version of the pattern and when I got to the 3rd page it wasn't lining up right so I ragequit the whole thing and started over. I love the grey though, so it worked out.

So it turns out that the way I crochet logs each stitch as a step on my Fitbit. I barely moved from my desk all day at work but this: turned into this: HEALTH

I haven't really had the motivation to make anything in months, but I finally made a small thing. Someone local was looking for donations for an LGBTQ group she started here in our city to give away as raffle gifts for their first luncheon. I made a quick hoop - I kinda wish I did a little more but I was afraid of over committing and not being able to finish something in time.

I still haven't finished my Aurora Cabin cross stitch (oops) but I have taken up sewing again! and knitting lol I've made a few masks but I've got the materials (um, who am i kidding? i have boxes full of fabric i bought years ago and never used xo) to make pjs so I'm gonna try that and i got pinking shears so i don't have to stress about finishing the edges inside the seams aaaand i'm knitting a pair of socks. 5 needles?! after not having knitted since i was a child/teen because apparently i love a challenge. i also got a cute ball of yarn with a matching bobble for £2.99 to make a hat so that's exciting oh and i made some clay pots a few weeks ago that i also need to paint lmao ALLLLLLLL THE CRAFTS!

My completed teeth necklace! I originally wanted to use spacers, but I wanted the necklace to have a more tribal appearance and I played around with using rocks for a bit, I had some quartz I needlessly and painstakingly drilled holes into - but I just didn’t like the look. I scavenged a few clam shells and wanted to use the purple interior, but it’s very thin and fragile and kept cracking after I’d ground off the white shell exterior and didn’t polish up well, either. Eventually, I put knots in the (single strand) leather just to see how it’d look on it, and I got the idea to braid it instead. This was ROUGH leather and my fingers are so sore - but now I have a beautiful teeth necklace! Attachments:

My stress levels have been at max capacity lately and I'm trying to push myself to get back into old hobbies I used to enjoy. I've started cross stitching again mainly because I still have most of my supplies. I went and bought a few hoops last night and am working on a small piece I started years ago that I got maybe 30 stitches into before putting down. Going to take those out and start fresh. I'm really looking forward to getting back into crafting and creating things again. There being a large craft store in my town now helps too. Hopefully I can stay on top of posting pics as I get projects finished.
