This week was my dad's 50th birthday so i finally got to make him a really cool car cake! He loved it, and there was definitely a lot of discussion about just freezing it forever and not cutting into it to eat   |

We're making So Much Slime right now. I wish I could find clear or glitter glue any where on the island. I'm hoping when we travel I'll be able to load up.

Ok crafty friends, I need help. I have a large glass skull (old liquor bottle) that I want to be holographic. Filling it with glitter would be way too expensive and I don't want to paint it on the outside and have it get everywhere. So now I'm trying to come up with ways to coat the insides with glitter but I'm not sure how well it would work. My first thought is to dump in glue or mod podge, swirl it to coat it, then dump in a bunch of glitter and shake it until it sticks. I'm afraid it might look bad though and that you'll see the adhesive. Any ideas?

Any ideas? vital step: buy some test tubes or something to test with. any glue that dries completely clear should work. i'd think that loosening it with some water or solvent would help to get it spread around, wait until it's tacky & not wet, then just toss in the glitter. |

I don't know that I can get someone to drink a whole bottle of shitty booze for me again so I want to do it right any glue that dries completely clear should work. i'd think that loosening it with some water or solvent would help to get it spread around, wait until it's tacky & not wet, then just toss in the glitter. Yah I was thinking this. I don't know that I can get someone to drink a whole bottle of shitty booze for me again so I want to do it right :) haha. i'd probably work from airline bottles or something - if you can get the glue to sit around those little curves, you should be able to get it inside the skull bottle. i don't see how it'd be too expensive to fill with glitter WITHOUT glue, though... you can get a pound of glitter for like $9 on amazon? |

I want actual holographic glitter, not iridescent or anything, and it is expensive. Especially since it is a large bottle that held 750ml of vodka. 1oz of the glitter can be anywhere between $3 - $10. |
