i approve of liveblogging piercings. XD Thanks First of all, this is how they look: http://instagr.am/p/BUKE7wojmIC Ok, so, my left hurt more than my right. He did the right first and honestly it felt pretty much the same as getting my conch pierced, like it hurt but not as much as i expected, and the taper was just a pinch. My left HURT, it also bled more and the taper hurt quite a bit too (that ear bled on my shirt, luckily i wore black so you cant tell). I'm gonna add a gore warning at the beginning of this thread so i can show these off - here are my ear bits! will fix soonThe left one also actually got stuck, like it was dangling off my ear after the punch went through, so he had to cut it off with a scalpel. Honestly that just stung a little and i barely noticed because i was too distracted by the pain i was already feeling. I just got home, my ears sting and ache but honestly the worst thing is i have a splitting headache. I've taken a couple ibuprofen but they haven't done a huge amount, or at least not noticeably. That's ok tho, eating lots of chocolate and gonna go see guardians of the galaxy 2 in a bit to distract myself. Also I was given some saltine solution and a bunch of sterile cotton buds, for the next few days i use just that, and then i can do sea salt soaks every morning and evening. Alan was awesome, answered all my dumb questions, totally didn't mind, and i didn't feel uncomfortable like at the studio i used to go to. Super friendly and clearly does great mods, would definitely recommend ^_^ Also on the way out of the studio because i was all full of adrenaline and shakey i tripped on the stairs ;-;

Thankyou all for the compliments! I love them so much :3 little update, I got home from guardians of the galaxy vol.2 (which was amazing btw - BABY GROOT OMG) and ate some food, currently i can't even feel my right one, like its just chilling no problem. But my left one, fuck that hurts. Its veeery achey and stings a little. Also still have a really bad headache, which is more annoying than my ears tbh. Oh well tho, it's to be expected, just gotta grit my teeth and bare it and remember how pretty they look ~ I'll update you all in the morning on how sleeping goes!

Thank you! You guys are so sweet :3 Ok so i woke up an hour or so ago (I'm lazy dont judge ) and sleeping was just fine! So glad I got a neck pillow, and a memory foam one at that, thank you for the suggestions! No issues at all, no bleeding everywhere (I had prepared for bleeding everywhere ), and I woke up feeling better than yesterday. Still don't even notice my right ear, and my left is still a bit achy but nothing major. And no headache, yay! One thing I will say though, if you wanna get this and usually tuck your hair behind your ears, you're gonna need to remember to bring a hair band around with you instead. I know it seems obvious but I've always tucked my hair behind my ears I don't even think about it, now I cant obviously and keep forgetting to bring a hairband around with me. Like I had to brush my teeth whilst holding my fringe out of my face the whole time X) Update: My right ear has suddenly gotten really itchy must resist

Not much to update on, they've been really good actually! I am a little bruised but again nothing major. I know it's early days yet, but even so. One thing though, not a problem as much as i'm just confused - they are bleeding, not a lot but they are, which is entirely to be expected, but i can't figure out when? Like there's never any blood on my pillow(s), so it's not at night, but idk surely during the day i'd notice? I mean apparently not but. It's no big deal, just confusing.
Also i realize i never addressed the fact that my jewellery is backwards. I might mess this up a little but from what i gather due to the shape of my ears and the fact that they're quite flat against my head, if i had the jewellery the normal way it'd push into my head a bit and hurt. So at least while they're healing and swollen, its better to keep them this way

Nice! They look awesome! I've had mine for years now, and I still often turn the plugs backwards when I sleep, because the pressure can make them achy if I have them frontways.
When mine were brand new, I found nothing helped that throbby-achiness like a good, warm salt soak. I didn't do them often, but they just helped SO much.
Honestly. now I'm so jealous mine are only 6g lol. I should've gone bigger!
